In DMT-VDSL systems, when the transmitter and receiver oscillator frequency mismatch each other, unwanted Inter-carrier Interference ( ICI ) occur. The crosstalk is noise caused by electromagnetic radiation of other telephone lines physically located in close proximity in the same cable binder.
