Summary: | 碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 輔導與諮商研究所 === 97 === The aims of this research are to understand employees’ coping strategies to the conflict upon work and life quality, and its influence on their well-being.
To reach the aims, mainly discussions are about: 1. the content of well-being constructed by employees; 2. the categories of employees’ working problems and conflict upon work and life quality, and their coping strategies; 3. the influence of coping strategies on subjective well-being.
According to the result of analysis, the conclusions are as following:
1. Employee’s well-being is subjectively constructed, including psychological, social and cognitive well-being.
2. Employees’ working problems mainly come from working stress and negative feelings about the conditions and situation of work place. Their coping strategies to working stress and negative feelings about the conditions and situation of work place , are including of “problem-focused coping”, “emotion-focused coping”, “adjusting of self-cognition”, and “social support”. They could cope by integrating personal and social resources.
3. Employees’ Conflict upon Work and Life quality mainly results in “damaging to quality of sleep” and “feelings of empty” to life. Interviewees of this research think that well-being is of a feeling about keeping stabling or comfortable state of life. Stress could impact subjective well-being. Coping strategies to stress could promote positive emotion and well-being, and make people keep their work morale, hope for life and normal life function to pursuit subjective well-being.
