To segment dendritic spines, tone reproduction is adopted. The Delaunay triangulation based centerline extraction is used to extract dendritic backbones. The dendritic spines are detected according to the space relationship between backbones and spines. We employ iterative closest point method to register the time-lapse data. Comparison results are also made for both static and time-series data between the proposed and manual results.
