Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 都市計劃學系碩博士班 === 97 === New freeway improved the regional transportation system, shorten travel time and cost, risen the accessibilities of local area. Furthermore, it encouraged within these areas and shown up as the economy growth, population blooms, and enhanced the local industries. Yilan used to be one of the most favorite site seeing and tourism county in Taiwan, however the connections to western Taiwan was subjected to mountains which raised up to 3000 meters. By the new opening of National Freeway 5, it had made things differently. It seems that there’s a tourism demand inspired from the more people came to Yilan and participate in tourism activities. This reaserch is to clearified the effect of National Freeway 5 to tourism activities, by using questionnaires and descriptive statistic analysis, the charaterisitic of both indivisiual and group tourisum has been investigated well. Moreover, we use discrete choice theory to build up Logit model, and use it to estimate some alternative choice like “stayed over night”, “travel days”, “travel mode”, and “joint travel plan”; in order to measure the tourism activites factor after the opening freeway. The result shows “travel activites planed by indivisuals”, “traveled with kids”, “where they come from”, “age of respondents”, “personal income”, and “gender”; will take place in the tourisum planning and behaviors. Situational simulation analysis showed the variation of travel cost have a great affect on “private viehcles” and the one“traveled by train”.
