The Green Building research trends are sweeping through the world. The most Taiwan Green Building Assessment System is EEWH and sometime(ex.TSMC) use LEED Green Building Assessment System ,which the development of U.S. Green Building Council. The concept of green building in the international community has gradually transformed into the concept of sustainable building (GB-> SB). In the concept of sustainable development,Japan has developed a complete assessment system for sustainable building (CASBEE). This research was taken Chi Mei Optoelectronics company case the Green Water Tree Valley Recreation Center,which was got diamond degree of Taiwanese EEWH Green Building Assessment System candidate certification. I was calculated , analysed and compared of their differences both CASBEE and EEWH Green Building Assessment System. Research results were summarized as follows: 1. The EEWH Green Building Assessment System result was got the highest level diamond candidate certification , but CASBEE was barely passing grade of B +. The main reason are geographical and climative differences, the breadth of assessment systems, and focused on the weighting coefficient differences . The EEWH weighting coefficient of energy-saving targets are 28%, indoor environmental quality only 12%, The CASBEE Q1 indoor environment and LR1 energy weighting coefficients are the same (each weighting coefficients are 20%). 2. The EEWH assessment system was focused on hardware sound insulation , such as wall, window and floor in sound environment. It is recommended you draw CASBEE-NC 2008 edition to increase t site investigation (including the value of the background noise of indoor , outdoor environment noise and outdoor vibration ) . Otherwise, this building classified as a type of large-scale space and a hall place, should be investigated the reverberation time measurement to assess the clarity of its voice. 3. Because of this building classification these two assessment system were assessed energy consumption of light. These two assessment system were not assessed glare and illuminance of light. However the multi-purpose sports hall ,it will be easy to produce health and safety issues,if the light has glare and low illuminance problem.I am recommend should be added to assess the glare and illuminance of light in this kind of building. 4. The EEWH assessment system were forced on four factors: the rationalization for the structure, lightweight of building , durability and renewable materials to assess C02 emission reduction,but did not calculated the life cycle CO2 emission. The CASBEE assessment system asked to calculate the life cycle CO2 emission and compared with the general value. I am recommend should be calculated life cycle CO2 emission in EEWH assessment system.
