A total of six precast piles were constructed and with different size of defects made in the pile in advance. The sonic echo method was used to perform the pile integrity test before and after the piles were installed in the ground. The signals obtained from the test were also processed by continuous wavelets transform to enforce the feature of the signals reflected by the flaws or piles tips. The study discusses whether the existence and position of flaws of piles could be determined by the sonic echo method. The results show that the greater the ratio of cross-section reduction is, the easier the flaws can be detected by the sonic echo method. Sheng-huoo Ni 倪 勝 火 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 102 zh-TW
