One can analyze the operational performance of a company from the monitoring of enterprise workflow. However, a company should consider the situation that how to operate in a distributed environment on Internet, or how to coordinate with upstream/downstream company or integrate heterogeneous workflow platform under the consideration of information security. The purpose of this study is to construct an agent-based cooperative of workflow management platform, designed to solve the distributed environment at the workflow of processing, business process taking into account the issue of security considerations. The first stage, we develops an agent-based coordinative workflow management platform to solve the workflow management problems and issues for information securities in distributed environment. In this research, we use a CFQ process of automobile parts design as a case study to analyze the evaluation method of workflow performance, propose generalized system architecture, and finally develop a prototype for investigation. The second stage, we uses cellular phone collaborative design workflow as a case study to demonstrate the usability of ACWMP system. The result shows that the platform effectively overcomes the heterogeneous and distributed environment problems and enables the members along the design chain to finish the design work in an integration manner.
