The different night break 1 , 2 and 3 hr treatments affected on plant growth of the two varieties , were not differ significantly. As for flower stalk emergence rate on the night break 2 hours were the fastest growing to reach 70% of two varieties but has no effect on time of flower bud development, days to flower, lenghth of flowering stalk. The cut flower quality performed better in higher florets number is 84.4 on night break 2 hours and the flower fresh more than control of Onc.’Gower Ramsey’, and cut flower quality of Onc.’Volcano Queen’, except treatment of night break shorten longer vase life than control. The main effect of increasing night break treatment is to increase cut flower quality . Different level of 160 , 240 and 320 ppm phosphate supplement treatment on plant growth of Onc.’Gower Ramsey’ did not effect much, but to root fresh weight and root activity 320 ppm treatment suffered harmful effect . As for flower cut flower quality except treatment of 160 ppm treatment shorten branch number, florets number and fresh weight is 11 , 95.7 and 35.8 g . On cut flower quality phosphate supplement 160 ppm treatment has better effect. And phosphate supplement 160 , 240 and 320 ppm treatment the time to flower days is obviously shorter than control .Therefore, phosphate supplement in cut flower quality and the time to flower days is obviously shorten , but the highter level of phosphate supplement may damage plant growth . The lenghth 10 cm flower stalk after different night break treatment mix with phosphate supplement of Oncidium Onc.’Gower Ramsey’ and Onc. ‘Volcano Queen’ . The better cut flower quality were investigated treatment of 160 ppm and 240 ppm . Especially treatment of 160 ppm vase life has better effect .The night break 2 hr treatment mix with 240 ppm phosphate supplement on growth and cut flower quality. Showed the better performance.
