This model was established by using mechanistic method. Those equations used in the model were firstly sifted from published papers and were coordinated with Internet''s functions, and then users could input the factors affecting the growth of the growing pigs and simulate their growth situation at different feeding conditions. This result could therefore be served as a reference to make decision. This system was designed by adopting Microsoft Windows Server 2003 as operation system and was written with ASP.NET (Active Server Pages.NET) coordinated with Microsoft Access 2007 Database. This system was installed on the Server at the Department of Animal Science, National Chung Hsing University. The main functions include five sections in terms of user data, simulation, user’s manual, related website and contact programmer. Firstly, user must login this system by inputting his username and password after enrollment. Subsequently, after inputting some information about growing pig, feeding regimes, feed details, slaughter and management, overheads and throughput of pigs, housing environment and market, the system was then executed to predict voluntary feed intake of growing pig, daily weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and retention of body composition at each day until final feeding age or slaughter weight. Five reports concerning input, efficiency, biology, carcass, and finance are provided at the end of execution. Some useful information from this system could act as a decision support system for farmers to manage their growing pigs. 阮喜文 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 112 zh-TW |
