These customers of Home-Stay also change their composition possibly. The study attempts to explore the impacts of the Operation of 6th National Highway on the industry of Home-Stay and the responding strategies of Home-Stay mangers in Puli area. The study discovers the Operation of 6th National Highway can increase the accessibility to Puli area. Several impacts are: First, the driving time reduced, the tourists emerge massively; Second, the increasing of accessibility; Third, attracting the central Taiwan tourists; Fourth, accelerating the turn-off rate; Fifth, destruction to the environment. Responding strategies are suggested as: 1. Differential services – customer’s positioning; 2. Differential product – customizing; 3. Expanding the market share - the expansion of the economic scale; 4. Differential product - uniqueness; 5. Connecting with academic institutions.
