Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 水土保持學系所 === 97 === Since October, 2004, there were sustainable fall and sliding phenomenon on Shr-men and Lu-chang areas in Nanchuang Township, Miaoli County, which threatened the property and life of local residents. In this research, Shr-men and Lu-chang areas is the research material. The environmental information of these areas is collected, and then, the field survey and the geological boring were done. The incline, shift, and water of these areas were monitored. The results indicated that these two areas are slowly movement sliding areas. The main causing factors are fragmental geology, steep slope, dip slope, high rainfall amount, and stream bank erosion. According the field survey and disaster factors analysis, in order to slow down the sliding, the surface and ground water drainage engineering and stream management engineering should be applied in these areas.
