This work through the search features of the patent for the one degrees of freedom to understand the characteristics of the mechanism. In order to increase security by adding
restrictions of the Food and Drug Administration(FDA) and International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC). And then use of Matlab® software into the optimization of these restrictions to achieve the one degree of freedom for Pressure-type sickbed side rail.
