| Summary: | 碩士 === 明道大學 === 資訊工程學系碩士班 === 97 === The purpose of this research plan is to develop a ZigBee-based monitoring system to improve the home health-cared system. Owing to the advanced science technology and medicine, we live longer life. Due to the increase of aging population in Taiwan, taking care of elderly population will become a social problem we will face in the coming century. Nowadays, patients in every medical organization are still measured and recorded health condition manually for the time being. It is necessary and important subject to acquire, examine, and convey the individual biomedical information immediately. We have adapted the advanced modern WSN ZigBee technology to develop a biomedical information monitoring system reducing manpower to improve healthcare efficiency.
In this study, the proposed system consists of signal acquisition, wireless sensor network (WSN) transmission, signal processing, internet communication, and database modules. The main purpose of this research is to provide a convenient biomedical information monitoring system for the home health-care facilities. It couldn't only reduce strength of nurse staffs, but also controls health condition easier by any demanding on operating, so that accident would be controlled to be lowest risk.
