The purpose of this study is less than in the core resources and core competencies, based on key success factors through the discussion and analysis, to understand Taiwan''s current 2nd tier digital camera manufacturers to develop the blue ocean strategy process; Also induce a sorting in the meantime core resource, core competencies and the key success factor and blue ocean strategy development the connection of the process, as a reference for the development of future strategy. This research acquires the following conclusion:
1. By the case study companies, Taiwan 2nd tier digital camera manufacturers have production facilities both tangible and intangible resources and organizational capacity of the individual sub-blue ocean strategy for their development have a positive impact, and indeed all.
2. Two cases of the company''s key success factors of the analysis on the biggest difference lie in product design and marketing and services.
3. Taiwan''s 2nd tier digital camera manufacturers to make full use of their accumulated years of industrial design, tooling, manufacturing and plastic injection of the knowledge and ability to attract large Japanese firms favor with the United States.
