Summary: | 碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 教育研究所碩士在職專班 === 97 === The aim of this study is to explore the implementation present situation of Educational Priority Areas (EPA) program in Matsu junior high schools, and the influence for junior high school students in scores of the Basic Competence Test. Finally, it provides some suggestions based on the conclusions of this study. Achieving the aims of this study are achieved by document analytic method, questionnaire survey procedure and interview law. And then, it gets following 11 conclusions:
1. Softness subsidy is more important than hardware in EPA program in Matsu junior high schools.
2. Subsidy projects can mostly atonement junior high school students in Matsu with cultural disadvantageous background.
3. It will continue to handle in promoting parent education activities, managing class auxiliary for weak trend students, and providing basic teaching equipments.
4. Educators have no special opinions in developing educational characteristic.
5. Educators have divergent opinions in promoting parent education activities.
6. The best subsidy project promoting the scores of students in the Basic Competence Test is managing class auxiliary.
7. The class teachers in Matsu junior high schools substitute the function of parents.
8. Local teachers are the great important resources for Matsu junior high school students..
9. Restoring teacher’s dormitory is helpful for promoting students’ study result, and it will reduce the rate of flow of teachers.
10. It has the most need to improve the lodging quality in Chu-Kuang and Nan-Kan township.
11. It may considerate to invest human resources in teachers in EPA program.
