Abstract With growing economics, people search for enjoyment of ease and comfort as one of their living targets through increasing the demands. Under this environment, the students in Taiwan recognize that attaining a higher degree is important and necessary, as well as achieving at a relatively higher social level, and thus most of them consider to entering a higher education school for further studies. Under the prevailing education rush, entering a higher education school becomes the first choice for most students in Taiwan. Consequently, the traditional education objectives and programs are not corresponding to the needs of most students, and most of the private schools establish the continuing education courses or transfer to comprehensive senior high school in order for it to assist their students to attain higher scores in the entering test. In this study, we aim to classify the behavior models of entering higher education schools for the professional school students in Kaohsiung County and to investigate the factors that influence their behaviors. This study applies the theory of planned behavior (TPB), structural equation modeling and AMOS analysis to conclude the overall behavior orientations in order to assist the government as a reference to make the education policy. The results of this study indicate that the attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control can influence the choice of entering a higher education school for the professional school students. Especially, the attitude has significant effect, since it is influenced by the personal relative profit Then, the subjective norm is influenced by the major groups. However, the perceived behavioral control has less influential effect and the self capability can influence it. Based on this empirical study, some suggestions are derived and stated as follows. 1. Suggestions to students: (1) Student should understand his/her self capability and adequately control their time. (2) Student should widely collect information and adequately utilize the resources. 2. Suggestions to the parents of students: (1) The parents should understand the thought of their sons and daughters, and encourage and communicate with them. (2) The parents should adequately offer the relative information so that their sons and daughters can use them as a reference. 3. Suggestions to the professional schools: (1) The schools should utilize the difference strategies to classify the student groups. (2) The schools should provide perfect assistance mechanism and information to their students. (3) The schools should provide scholarship and student aid fund to encourage the students. 4. Suggestions to the government: (1) The government should enhance the policies decree about the professional school education.
