The BOF Slag in the domestic majority of concentrated in the project with the road use, If can increase its application value, be able the reduction to the river sand and gravel and the import sand and gravel use dependence. BOF Slag for steel-making process in sideline product, It's particle size shape a round shape,resistant to compression to be high, the water permeability is big,aggregates alternative is high,therefore uses in the road pavement, Should be a very good environmental protection regenerates the paving material , the substitution tradition road pavement material, CSC's sideline product BOF Slag resources and the asphalt concrete pavement RAP effective use, and may save the natural sand and crushed stone material use, Reduces the project cost to enhance the economic utility. This research application BOF's characteristic,applies in the dense gradation asphalt concrete design pavement structure, to uses biggest nominal particle size 19mm the gradation median line, above 16 sieve (including) below all uses the natural aggregate,add in the dense gradation asphalt concrete pavement RAP 20% and increase BOF Slag 8 sieves separately has 0% ,20%, 40%, 60%, 80% recruitment separately,analyzes proportion of the best increase to carry on the dense gradation asphalt concre each thing physical nature、the chemical property experiment and the composition gradation appraised,the research project including BOF Slag basic mechanics、physical property、the Marshall coordinates the design law、resilient modulus test、dynamic creep test、static creep test、residual strength index test、indirect tension test、rutting test tracks、BOF Slag with different ingredients for the effectiveness of the steps compared, difference of Analysis added BOF Slag asphalt concrete pavement and the traditional pavement structure. The research results of hardness BOF Slag was 16.6% vs. 24.2% of natural aggregates to a good wear rate,observation wheel track rutting test the stability of the converter dynamic stone aggregates value much higher than the natural, Deformation rate to the low natural aggregates,BOF Slag rutting resistance more effective deformation. Indirect tensile strength and high temperature (40 ℃) resilient modulus values than the natural aggregate to the higher, That is resistant to heavy vehicles cause the pushing deformation, And the holds adequate strength.
