There are three kinds of tag antenna for disk, article luggage and pallet applications. The result of the tag antennas attached to the goods has their own characteristic because the goods with different dielectric constant and thickness. When the tag antenna is attached to the different goods, it will significantly affect the impedance matching of the antenna and chip IC. In this thesis, the proposed of the tag antenna can be overcome these advantages. In “Design of a coupled ring tag antenna for disk application,” the measured maximum read range is about 113 cm. In “U-shaped loop of the dipole tag antenna for article luggage application,” the measured maximum read range is about 6.2 m. In “Tuning loop of the dipole tag antenna for pallet application,” the measured maximum read range is about 7.5 m. Those the tag antennas are measured in anechoic chamber to verify of the tag maximum read range and orientation sensitivity.
