This study used a questionnaire to survey married female employees at several hotels by convenient sampling during June to August, 2008. The total number of questionnaires sent was 460 and 327 was collected. The questionnaire includes four parts such as role conflict, leisure coping, life quality and personal information. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, reliability test, item analysis, t test, one-way ANOVA, factor analysis, Pearson’s correlation and multi-regression analysis. The results show that most of the subjects are 31~40 years old, graduated from senior high school or vocational high school, married with children, monthly pay NT$20,001~ 30,000 and work at housekeeping department in a tourist hotel with 51~100 employees with 3~5 year experience. Most of the subjects perceive the conflict between work role and house wife role is more serious than that between work role and mother role, select leisure activities could enhance positive emotion and they have higher agreement in psychological and social relation dimension of life quality measurement. The personal social economic background such as age, education and so on significantly influence perceived role conflict and life quality but only part of personal social economic background such as age, education and number of employees significantly influence leisure coping perception. Perceived role conflict is significantly related with leisure coping but not related with life quality. On the other hand, leisure coping is significantly related with life quality. Finally, perceived leisure coping has significant prediction effect on life quality but role conflict hasn’t significant prediction effect on life quality.
