First of all, take three different specifications core materials and magnetic materials configuration to explore the back-EMF of motor, output torque, output torque, transfer efficiency and cogging torque. Then, take the motor efficiency as index to look for the best core material and magnetic material. To reduce cogging torque, choose magnet length, air gap length, magnet arc ratio, the width of slot opening as the experimental factors for design the motor.
