The introduction of hiding confidential information to original digital media will certainly degrade the original media. For this reason, how to accomplish high capacity of information-hiding and high transparency at the same time are nowadays the most major issues in related fields of information hiding. Thus, the trade-off between hiding capacity and transparency is significant to be explored. Halftone image is a special image consisted of black pixels and white pixels. This kind image only contains the pixel values of 0 and 1. This reason will make most information hiding technologies of traditional continuous images not appliable to halftone images directly. Hence, there are a lot of constraints and difficulties in the processing of hiding confidential information into halftone image. In the study, we solve the contradiction between capacity of confidential information hiding and transparency in halftone images. We propose an adaptive scehme of information-hiding for halftone images. The porposed technology applies the powerful search ability of computational intelligence to dereive the best pattern for information-hidding. This derived best pattern will minimize the distortion caused by watermark-embedding and reduce the storage space for secret key needed when embedding and extracting hiding information. In addition, we design a series of experiments to verify the performance of the proposed scheme fairly and correctly. The experimental results demonstrate that in the case of embedding large quantity of confidential information, the proposed information-hiding scheme efficiently minimizes the extent of image breaking and distortion. And in cases of attack-free, the entire confidential information can be recovered successfully and completed. Jeng-Shyang Pan、Shu-Chuan Chu 潘正祥、朱淑娟 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 90 zh-TW |
