How to watch for various types of environment for future coding standard, apart from a variety of encoding depends
on the characteristics of the specifications, but also pay attention to the formation of the future as a hardware codec that includes the cost of test volume, simple architecture, as well as transaction level performance codec chip restrictions and other factors.
In response to the coming high-definition video and high-fidelity sound both times, many new products in order to have the introduction of a new generation of audio and video compression standard, not too old technology and not so out of the trend of the times. in some specific applications in the old technology still occupies a very important place.
With the global economic development and people's income increase in the demand for human security and on the increase, a security surveillance system has become the basic equipment protection. The electronic security industry may be divided broadly into surveillance, access control, intercom and other anti-theft and
four broad categories, of which system to monitor the share of output and the highest proportion of all of them with cameras, video transmission, image integration, image display, images are stored on the all kinds of devices and control devices, widely used in financial institutions, community homes, office buildings and the preservation of safety monitoring purposes. DVR technology is also in continuous change. Remote monitoring system on the market solution is also a wide variety. A variety of image compression technology of different the characteristics and the application areas. And the DVR
recordings of the images are also special requirements, because it is video evidence. It is of different the general recreational audio-visual needs. So can not be entertaining audio-visual products in the technology to analyze.
Remote monitoring is required for the next era. Due to network bandwidth constraints, the transmission of information has been limited. In order to solve the network increasing the amount of data to enhance the speed of network transmission, and at an acceptable image quality under a variety of compression techniques will be
generated. Under consideration in the reduction of cost, network bandwidth and cost of the line must be careful calculation and strict budgeting.
In this paper, the direction is use of next-generation video compression standardH.264 and Mpeg-4, in the Internet environment, is to image compression for remote monitoring of the effectiveness of testing. With H.264 and Mpeg-4 high-quality, high compression rate of the advantages of comparison, images in the transmission network increases more smoothly. And can through a portable device for remote monitoring at any time.
