Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 資訊工程系 === 97 === E-Portfolio is increasingly popular to be used as a tool to help meaningful learning and represent the students’ multiple abilities. A key problem of developing an E-portfolio system is how to create an integrated and coherent picture of students’ learning. This picture can enhance their self-understanding and allow them to showcase their skills and knowledge to prospective employers. In this thesis, we first study the concept of information visualization to visualize students’ learning performance. Another important obstacle is the learning performance comes from a variety of teaching and learning activities during a series of courses. However, it is both time consuming and difficult for teachers to record detailed learning activities and assess the learning process. Therefore, we design a subsystem to help teachers to overcome these problems. We used the concept of standard score with the linear transformation conversion to quantify students’ learning performance. The system not only can ease the burden of teachers, but also provide the reference of formative assessment and summative assessment. We propose and define a learning score to represent the learning status of students for portfolio analysis. Through the experiments on several practical courses, we conclude that the average accuracy rate of up to 89% in predicting the students of low learning effectiveness.
