It could be applied for researching and analyzing certain project based on re-evaluating the original design, planning and procedure structure, and optimizes the best resolutions which could promise the demand of its function and schedule of the project, most importantly , efficiently cost down the budget and sustainable strategy . Value engineering has being practically developed approximately half century in history; lots of successful experiences had been achieved in America, Japan and some other advanced countries. Specially, its prominent performances of saving cost, empowering function conducted in traffic construction. Nevertheless, Value engineering is still at early stage in electronic industries in Taiwan, relative research is quite a few. Thus it motives me to choose Value Engineering as a research topic. This research is based upon interviewing specialists, surveys with the domestic electronic industries which had brought value engineering into practice, also by ways of collecting available references. It used narrative statistics , factor analysis as tools, trying to reveal the current situation of domestic electronic industry employees’ practice of value engineering, and sorting out the crucial successful factors of electronic industries while executing value engineering. This research collects its relevant data by means of surveying electronic industries which have brought value engineering analysis system into practice, interviewing specialists, also adopting narrative statistic tool, to find out the current obstruction and the crucial successful factor to implement valve engineering in domestic electronic industries. It concludes that the actively support of the administers, the interest of customers feed back, and the efficiency evaluation required from costumers before a new order are the main issues to make this system work ;Lacking communication between different divisions, insufficient budget and inexperienced specialists are the most obstructive reasons for companies to implement the program.
