Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 應用工程科學研究所 === 97 === Presently, Polyurethane (PU) Heart Valve is applied widely to treat patients who have problem with natural valves. An adequate research of hemodymics is required to improve the performance of this kind of prosthetic appliance. This work uses numerical method to analyze the variation of blood velocity and shear stress of PU Heart Valve, and compare with that of human one.The model of heart valve is sketched by Solidworks and meshed by ANSYS Workbench 10.0, and then ANSYS CFX10.0 is utilized to analyze the blood flow.Flow performance of the artificial valves is estimated by using the parameters of effective orifice area (EOA). The analysis results show that the blood velocity, shear stress and effective orifice area of PU Heart Valve are similar to those of human one.The success of current simulation could be a good reference for further studies.
