It apparently will be an important issue about aviation safety after permitting business aircraft to fly in Taiwan. Thereforse, the purpose of this study is to mine the safety factors from the accident records of foreign business aircraft from the mined knowledge, a set of if … then … rules can be obtained. Through these rules we can explore the importance of each attribute which causes different levels of damage in business aircraft. The data used in this study is from the accident records of National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of U.S.A. We apply rough set theory to generate a set of decision rules.
