Some of them even approach to the brink of bankrupt. In order to survive、when facing difficulties、airliners have to adapt new strategies to handle、and it already becomes the norm for airliners to learn.
This research is trying to do a systematic analysis involving macro and industrial. Integrated with SWOT analysis、a few solid operation strategies have been suggested. After brain storming with colleagues、these strategies are carefully converted to contingencies and guidelines that printed on the questionnaires. By consulting with experts from airline industries、academic organizations、government officials、and combining with AHP analysis、some priorities of these operation strategies are generated. With regarding to the global economic downturn、the most important strategy、which most experts agreed upon、is to take an「overall review of current operating procedures.」Second is to「enhance the capability of risk control and implement fuel saving strategy.」Since this research is purely acasdemic、the results still need to be verified. So、the purpose of this research is merely providing some references for airlines to use when facing strategies decision making.
