The utilization of the handset body as a part of the radiator is beneficial to enhance antenna performance of the handset because the handset body is usually larger than the antenna element. Therefore, the overall effective antenna dimensions augment dramatically, the corresponding gain and the bandwidth of the antenna system are increased. The optimum environment scenario design will be discussed in this thesis. The experiment and simulation studies will be used to lead the design rules. The simulation tool is Ansoft HFSS which is well used in this research. The case studies band will cover EGSM (880~960MHz), DCS (1710~1880MHz), PCS (1850~1990MHz), Bluetooth (2400~2500MHz), IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n(2400~2500MHz / 5150~5850MHz) and WiMax(2300~3800MHz), the experimental results will prove the theoretical definition.
