Description
Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 機械與自動化工程學系碩士班 === 97 === The research is to develop a miniature pulsating water jet lavage system for the clinical workers to clean patient’s wounds effectively. The system processes 2 distinct characters from the existing systems. (1)The pulsating frequency and pressure are adjustable for a better cleaning according to the patient’s wounds. (2) The system are divided into 2 portions. One, containing the pump and nozzle, is disposible after lavage. Another, containing the driving moter and its control, is re-usable. The 2 portions are connected by a coupler while in use. Since the existing lavage systems are designed to be discarded after use, the new system is more cost efficient and environmental friendly. The main part of the motor control is a BS2 microprocessor made by Parallax. It manages the motor-and-pump to produce the desired frequency and pressure. The control program is written in Basic Stamp language. To fit the system th pump is a brand new design. To verify that it can achieve the most effective lavage pressure of 4~15psi, a measuring platform is designed. A pressure gauge is fixed 2 CM from the nozzle horizontally. Water streams from the nozzle will push the gauge. It produces analog signals according to the variation of pressures. Through an A/D conversion circuit and a PCI8255 interface, the pressure data are acquired by a program written in Visual Basic. The experiments prove that the pump can produce enough pressure for every frequency. Finally lavage tests are made with satisfactory results.
