As the information and technology has been continued to progress and breakthrough, and the computer has been software-friendly, traditional proprietary controller gradually replaceed by PC Based Controller, which has been became the mainstream of the market. The experiment has used Microsoft Visual Basic software to design a graphical operating window through PC Based, which is a strong basis for calculation and control capability. The experiment has used the operation of the window made by the Microsoft Visual Basic procedures to control the robot, simulates the mechanical arm''s path according to the physical demand, achieves precise and the fast positioning control, enables made the mechanical hand percus xylophone and played the note into a designated music, to achieve " Research of Composing Music and Playing Robot Arm "purposes.
