Now they can share their knowledge and interact with others. In recent years, people have been using Wikipedia as main tool for instant searching, editing and discussing wide varieties of issues. Wikipedia is a web-based online encyclopaedia integrated through the Internet and fits the collaborative platform of GNU (GNU’s Not Unix). Every user can instantly edit contents, link tens of thousands of knowledge through the keywords, and retrieve information instantly. Simultaneously, users can search for historical events, and then revise and discuss the contents with others. Furthermore, Wikipedia is an open system that allows users to interact, continuously revise and update all information. Even though not written by experts, everyone can discuss and acquire satisfactorily logical explanations regarding their questions. Thus, it accelerates knowledge sharing and enhances the development of human resources. However, due to the few related research on Wikipedia, this research aims to investigate the three following factors—content, technical, and social values. Questionnaire analysis is applied to find the influences of Wikipedia towards knowledge sharing behavior and job performance. Finally, this research is expected to provide useful references for developing the human resources. The research shows that Wikipedia has a significantly effect on knowledge sharing behavior and individual performance which implies that enterprises can apply Wikipedia to increase the willingness among the workers to share knowledge and enhance individual performance, as well as developing the human resources in the future.
