碩士 === 義守大學 === 財務金融學系碩士班 === 97 === The formation of global village pattern, the increasingly frequent commercial activities internationally, the close financial contact, and Taiwan joins World Trade Organization, all of these facts result in financial deregulation. National banks face the problems of debts and credit card debits domestically, and they also need to face the competition from overseas banks externally; how the national banks could be transformed from domestic layout to international and liberal management, and then develop the scope of regional bank so as to obtain higher profit and lift the level and standard of banks is an important topic. Questionnaire investigation would be carried out in this study.The questionnaires would be mailed to every staff and manager in the banks, hopefully the evaluation from every bank manager towards the measuring scale of key success factors for regional banks could serve as the foundation of this study, so that factor analysis could be carried out so as to understand how each item influences the key to become regional bank. The importance of these items would be analyzed further and accordingly, and then the relative and specific implementation strategy would be analyzed. From the suggestions of experts and scholars and questionnaires of the banking circles, one can know that this topic can be divided into three aspects, which are “operation and policy”, “financial innovative services”, and “market merging and expanding” respectively. During the process of promoting domestic banks to transform to regional banks, these three aspects are the very important part for the banking circles to consider. For the perspective of how domestic banks can be transformed to regional banks and even international banks, besides focusing on innovative services and expanding overseas markets, the cooperation from policy and laws and decrees is necessary as well; thus, these three aspects are indispensable. Hopefully, this study could provide better understanding towards the ideas of bankers and their corresponding strategies.
