In flat fading environments, ISI can be generated by co-channel interferers due to the random symbol timing and phase offsets between the desired signal and the co-channel interferers. The performances of the MIMO system with maximum-ratio (MRC) and optimal combining (OC) schemes in the presence of ISI due to co-channel interference (CCI) in flat fading channels is analyzed and compared. The interference impairment due to ISI made through computer simulation often will be very time-exhausting, particularly while multiple antennas is consider.
