As a result, this thesis takes advantages of the patent proposed in a company to analyze the charging batteries and the ways to put the analysis into practice—lowering the required energy of the adapter from 190 W to 180 W, a considerable reduction of 10 W in cost. Besides, the study uses the Micro Controller Unit (MCU) mentioned in the patent to replace the original charging chip with the design of the firmware. Along with reducing the space of the printing circuit board (PCB), the cost is saved effectively. The patent also mentions the techniques from self-adjustable re-charge system, which are applied to reduce the full charging time for the batteries of 6600 mAH in ordinary notebooks from approximately 13 to only 3-4 hours.
