Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 97 === The purpose of this study focuses on how managers evaluate the business performance of each telecom product of mobile data services. In other words, using performance evaluation model, the manager can quickly determine which service provider needs sales aids and then the improved and consistent marketing strategy can be formed effectively between service and system providers. Two important components, quantitative and qualitative factors, are included in the performance evaluation model of each provider. By incorporating analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and data envelopment analysis(DEA) into the decision model, managers can effectively realize the current business situations of each service provider and then it is beneficial to the determination and examination of the subsequent improved strategies. Moreover, an empirical study was derived and tested by a famous system provider, i-mode system, and its customers. First, based on the transaction processing system of the company, the prototype of web-based evaluation system is built by evolutionary prototyping method. Its system framework is performed and built on the firm’s Intranet and then quantitative and qualitative factors are integrated by the performance evaluation model. Finally, empirical results from the prototype can be used to explain how decision makers can effectively manage several critical values of performance of each service provider, and even can derive some important managerial implications.
