Professionalism is the developmental guideline for Social Workers’ association following the executive program of the union of professionals in Taiwan. Due to the weakness of legislation, examination system, specialist training and practical restrictions, the environment is not warm enough for the Union. Therefore, it caused the difficulties in managing licensed social workers. The developmental stage of the National Union of Professional Social Workers in Taiwan is still in a very beginning stage. In the long run, N.U.P.S.W.A. will create a great significance for communities of social work practice. More people and resources are in need.
