The subjects of the study are 733 junior high school students from Taoyuan County. The results show that, first of all, junior high school students perceive few conflict with their parent and middle level adjustment of “physiology and psychology”, “school life”, “family life”, “peer relations”. Secondly, junior high school students’ perceptions of parent-adolescent conflict are significantly correlated with life adjustment of “physiology and psychology”, “school life”, “family life”, “peer relations”. Gender shows no significant differences on any aspects of life adjustment. And there are no significant differences on any aspects of life adjustment between the only-child and non-only child. But family socioeconomic status shows significantly differences on life adjustment of “physiology and psychology”, “school life”, “family life”, “peer relations”. Finally, junior high school students’ perceptions of parent-adolescent conflict, family socioeconomic status have significant effect on aspects of “physiology and psychology”, “school life”, “family life”, “peer relations”.
