The discipline of Feng Shui includes the School of Luan Tou, the School of Li Chi, and traditional Feng Shui taboos. Feng Shui is an abstruse discipline in Chinese traditional culture, and has much influence on Chinese concepts of space and their application.
The study extracts Feng Shui core elements (e.g. Chi, Yin Yang, Wu Xing, Ba Gua, Gan Zhi, etc.) from the formation history of Feng Shui. It further explores the content of Feng Shui and understands the underlying logic of Feng Shui. The Li Chi theory of Zi Bai Fei Xing method and Ba Zai method is then examined based on the knowledge obtained from the study.
The objective of the study is to explore the factuality, rationality, and weaknesses of Yang-Zhai Li Chi theory. The research studies, compares, and debates the theories of Zi Bai Fei Xing method and Ba Zai method; discovers the conflicts between them and reveals the verifiable truth therefrom. The study is aimed to retain the essence of Yang Zai Li Chi theory, combine the advantages of these two schools and their practical applications, and provide a reference for new Feng Shui learners.
