Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 資訊工程所 === 97 === Due to the rapid of technology development, information is ubiquitous. It is not difficult to obtain knowledge, however, it is important to find the necessary information quickly and correctly, and to abstract knowledge from the information in associated domain. Topic Maps, which is specified in ISO/IEC 13250 standard, is a useful tool for managing non-organized data and plays an important role on knowledge orientations and information bridging among a great quantity information data. A topic map is composed of a number of topics, associations, and occurrences. A topic, in its most generic sense, can be any “thing” whether it exists or has any other specific characteristics. The association is to be able to describe relationships between topics. Occurrences of the topic may be linked to one or more information resources that are relevant to the topic in some way. Nowadays software classification is usually based on personal experience. Due to the ambiguity of this classified strategy, it is difficult for user to find and retrieve information. To improve the above issue, we provide a one-to-many correspondence to replace one-to-one classification, and provide a new relationship for software classification. In this thesis, we use Topic Maps to develop a system that takes the ontology as the internal knowledge and provides navigation and retrieval function. The system also develops to store knowledge in the relational database in the form of Topic Maps. Furthermore, we build some useful constructs to help users to obtain the information they interested in. We also describe some interface design guidelines which can improve users’ operation efficiency according to the reference conclusions and users’ state investigation. We also facilitate a better interface usability to improve the performance that users obtain the information with in the system.
