Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 景觀與遊憩研究所 === 97 === In the life of modern city, people are mostly engaged long time staying in the indoor environment. Study results show that green plants can help to improve atmosphere of indoor environment, reducing stress or improving work performance. Thus, the question is that placing how many plants to achieve restorative effect? Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the visual percepted greening ratio in indoor environment that might have positive impact to people''s psychological reactions.
In this study, university secretary office is selected as the simulated site which selecting common type indoor plant types. This study simulates 0~60% of plants greening ratio by 2% interval, a total of 31 pictures are simulated. To facilitate the sampling, Feng Chia University students are chosen as the subjects, and survey procedure is applied in the classroom, with a total of 130 useable samples. Questionnaires are restorative experience of components adopted from Tzu-hui Tseng (2003) Landscape restoration well-being scale, and added two restoration effects items.
The results show that the greening levels of plant in the indoor environment is depend on the visual percepted greening ratio. Subjects prefer range of 10~30% of the greening levels of plant. Which are easier to restore the spirits as well. Indoor environment do not require too many green plants to increase the preferences and restorative effects. From restorative experience of components, the higher visual percepted greening ratio, the higher physically being away and fascination constructs. On the contraty, coherence and compatibility constructs is exactly the opposite; higher visual percepted greening ratio, the lower response subjects responsed. Placed too much green plants in the indoor environment will affect office and business mobility, also affect the mood of worker who stays in indoors for long time, which decreasing in coherence and compatibility.
Using the restorative experience of components to predict the restorative effects and preference, results find that indoor green plants has coherence of the restorative characteristic. Past studies pointed out that the natural environment restorative effects is higher than in urban environment, and the coherence of the restorative characteristic does not existed, furthermore, the coherence as restorative experience of components needs further discussion. An integrated indoor environment and the natural environment research has shown that environmental characteristics differences would affect the judgment of the restorative experience of components. In addition, the prediction of the environment differences will also be different.
