In the past, studies on "sexuality", were more than from the medical, counseling and crime levels to explore, then to the pleasurable sexual experience or process. This study attempts to use the backgrounds of erotic settings to explore consumers’ motivations and experiences and to link the recreational and leisure to the sexuality.
Compulsory heterosexuality and the patriarchal structure have affected our society and created so many erotic places. In this study, aspects of sociology and leisure exposition were used to interview with experienced male consumers in the erotic settings to analyze the attributes of domestic leisure properties.
Erotic settings are places to participate in the patriarchal society to show a process of masculinity. From the experience of the respondents, it was found that this was recognition of the male groups in the process to strengthen the enforcement of a compulsory misogyny complex to prove male pleasure. In addition, there were needs for business being accompanied by alcohol and female waitress, a blurring of the identity of the male business class differences. In such leisure settings, it is basically a form of social exchange, the participants were not for the purpose of the sexual trade, but for controlling female waitress to meet the psychological needs of males.
Participating in fun activities some supervision was then to ensure that each man obeys the same construction of masculinity and the drill goes on again and again. However, when participants went out of the erotic places, it is the feeling of emptiness and loneliness. The essence of masculinity is non-existiny if the above construction is at erotic settings, which means a drama shows only. This study suggested that the concept of leisure, stressing on the interaction between men and women to create based the pleasure experiences, including money based or not money based market transactions domain, could be the follow-up studies of the topics, to broaden the scope of leisure research.
