This research adopts quasi-experimental design, using homeland education as a subject and designing spatial information integrated into homeland education curriculum for 20 lessons. We take two primary school students of fifth grade as the research targets in Taichung city, and divide them into experimental group and control group. Two classes in the teaching activities, the two groups of students to accept the "the field of social studies learning survey forms" after the test, while the experimental group to receive a separate "spatial information technology to learning effective and attitudes" and "spatial information technology integration into Homeland education open-ended questionnaire. " Based on the findings, conclusions of this study are as follows: 1. Innovative designs of "Spatial Information in Homeland Education plans", can provide teachers a reference for Homeland education in the future. 2. After the information technology integrated instruction, learning attitude of the experimental group students was significantly superior to that of the control group students. 3. Spatial information technology can enhance the students'' information literacy, and let the knowledge become a part of life. 4. Learning Web-GIS can enhance learning effectiveness and let the students understanding their homeland. 5. The experimental group students had positive attitude toward information technology integrated instruction. They thought the use of information technology could enhance learning effectiveness and improve learning motivation. Tien-Yin Chou 周天穎 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 101 zh-TW
