The purpose is to investigate how much relevance between children’s involvement in internet games and their performances in school. Moreover, it is conducted to discover if there is any relevance between parents’ involvement, internet games, influences from peer groups and school performances. Also, we can find out the internet addiction and analyze whether they own obvious differences from game types, school performance, parent involvement and peer group’s influence. According to the studies that conducted before, most of them focused on the relevance between students’ involvement and school performances; however, all of them didn’t mention extra factors: peer group’s influence and parent involvement. Therefore, this research pays attention on relevance between high graders’ involvement in internet and school performances and that between peer group’s influence and parent involvement via reference. Through out this study, we expect that the motivations of internet using will be reveled so as to parents and teachers can build up positive attitude to handle kids’ internet using.
