The subject is 601 female students from 6 public and private collegiate schools in Taichung area. The data are collected by the questionnaires survey and verified by descriptive statistics, independent t test, one-way ANOVA and multivariate regression analysis. The major findings athletic contests from the interviewees who are the freshman of management school staying in the school dormitories with no part-time jobs, and The information of athletic contests comes from the school propagation; in addition, there is a difference between the 4 factors such as colleges, grades, lodging status and information source of athletic contests watching and the school athletic contests watching, self participation in sports and self-perceived health conditions. Specially, there is a positive impact of the school athletic contests watching on self participation in sports and self-perceived health conditions. Thus, the present study finds that the female collegiate students watch school athletic contests more frequently participated in sports more regularly and report better self-perceived health conditions according. Based on empirical findings, sports suggestions are proposed as to the planning of activities held by collegiate schools and the providing of observation seats for students.
