Description
Summary:碩士 === 清雲科技大學 === 機械工程系所 === 97 === The Ni/nano-TiO2 composite coatings on AZ91D magnesium alloy were prepared by electroplating method that the nano-TiO2 particles were added with various concentrations of 5 g/l, 10 g/l and 20 g/l for comparison to evaluate their effect on the corrosion and wear-corrosion protection for the alloy in a simulated body solution., and the electroless Ni-P plated coating was used as an intermediate layer for Ni electroplating catalyst. The effect of the nano-composite coatings on the mechanical properties, corrosion and wear-corrosion resistance of the AZ91D magnesium alloy substrate was investigated. The results showed that AZ91D magnesium alloy after electroless Ni-P plated could help electroplating Ni crystal to be adhesived effectively and exhibited an uniform surface morphology. Furthermore, the nano-hardness, corrosion and wear-corrosion resistance of the nano-composite coatings were enhanced with increasing the concentrations of nano-TiO2 particles. The nano-composite coating at high concentration of 20 g/l had excellent corrosion and wear-corrosion protection ability for AZ91D magnesium alloy in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution.
