In this thesis we analyze the color washout of MVA mode and compare the various definition of the color washout nowadays and propose a new value to depict color washout phenomenon (G value). To analyze the influence of LC’s domains, optical structure and cell gap on color washout in MVA mode by using G value and 1D LCD MASTER. We find the optimum design with 8-domain MVA technique to improving color washout.
