By using fluid dispensing process, suitable width of the glue onto the piezoelectric ceramic vibrator is defined. Silver glue is usually used, which is injected from the glue needle, and will be investigated with the cause and effect relationships by using Taguchi’s experimental method. Therefore, optimal parameters are found to improve the quality of gluing and enhance the reliability. From experiment, it concludes that appropriate viscosity and high injection pressure as well as fast gluing speed will achieve better quality characteristics of electrode. Also, an automatically-controlled 3DOF gluing dispenser platform is built for providing accurate time-pressure control purpose and verified its good operating performance.
