Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 建築研究所 === 97 === With the full implementation of two-day weekend and the upgrading of life quality in Taiwan, the potential of leisure architecture has gained attention. The advantage of leisure architecture that is most valuable and different from famous scenic spots and theme parks is that it does not need great scenery and expensive amusement equipment and environment construction. It focuses on the close contact between people and place. The products leisure architecture provide are: tour planning, explanation, accommodation, goods making participation, learning and resting etc. Leisure architecture is mainly providing tourists rural lifestyle experience that is different from urban lifestyle. Hopefully they can feel enriched and come back again. However, for all that to be more precious and meaningful, it relies on the uniqueness of the local features, which include village landscape and local customs etc. Among the features, the key and the most important features are landscape characteristics, creativity and management, including software and peripheral environment.
However, most of the current leisure farms are managed by people who were in the agricultural production industry and who do not have much experience relating to leisure industry and knowledge relating to farm planning. Moreover, the standards of current leisure architecture consultation and management policies are not yet clear regarding to leisure farm planning. It results in many artificial facilities that do not meet rural ecology. In addition, various commercial activities have destroyed the original landscape ecology which distracts current leisure farm planning away from its original intention and goal. Therefore this paper focuses on discussing space planning of leisure farms from the viewpoint of landscape ecology.
This paper uses leisure farms in Guanyin Township and Shinwu Township as the research target. Optimistically, through the viewpoint of landscape ecology and methods such as literature analysis, deductive and inductive methods and field survey, the overall environment of the leisure farms in Guanyin Township and Shinwu Township can be viewed and analyzed. The composition of the landscape ecology of the leisure farms in this area is discussed to provide basic reference for space and facility planning. Through practical case, farm space is attempted to improve by ecological means and space planning strategy. The ecological environment created after improvement is investigated. Hopefully the outcome of this paper can be used as a reference for designing leisure farms in Guanyin Township and Shinwu Township when giving consideration to both the environmental ecology and the commercial interest.
