碩士 === 中原大學 === 室內設計研究所 === 97 === The significance of interior design is differed from the past as the life style changed with time.Today, more and more people put high value on their own residential design in order to make a relax from wrok pressure and promote life quality. In addition to those residential basic function spaces, such as living room, bedroom, dining room, …etc, Tea room and Study room act as a social space for family and friend gathering and a Home Theater also play an important role in residential interiors for movie seeing and music appreciation. Of most visual-audio space design we learned is focused on the interior finish material application and style differentiation but lack of physical study on visual and audio evaluation. Therefore efficient planning strategies will be the key issues in this essay. In this essay, some design guidelines and evaluating methods of related facilities and equipments for visual-audio space planning are tried to be established. First step will be information gathering and analyze the information gathered in this phase. Based upon the information analysis, some scenarios will be developed in examining some existing cases to evaluate the feasibilities of those guidelines and targets. Hopefully, this essay could construct some evaluating methods as a reference guideline on visual-audio space planning.
