Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 工業與系統工程研究所 === 97 === In recent years, the rapid development of the aviation industry result that the quantity of aircraft in the airspace increased and the problems of aviation safety generated. To solve these problems, FAA built a Controller/Pilot Data Link Communication (CPDLC) system. The goal of the CPDLC is to establish the communication between controllers and pilots by digitalizing the communication channels. It aims at improving the over-crowded communication channels, misunderstanding, and short-term memory, but CPDLC still have some problems on interface design. Some researchers suggest that CPDLC shouldn’t be used in the take-off phase or approach phase because these phases are easy happened accidents. But this study thinks that CPDLC should be applied in these two phases, if we would like to utilize CPDLC more efficiently. Therefore, this study expects to explore the following problems:
(1) To investigate the effect of different media on pilot’s metal workload under different flight phases.
(2) To investigate the opinions of pilots on CPDLC interface design.
(3) To investigate the pilots’ acceptance of using CPDLC while flying on different phases.
This study found that there is a significant different on pilot’s workload under different phase but not different under different media. Therefore, CPDLC seems to be used at any phases when no events.
